Education

I am proud to live in a town where education is a top priority. Bethany Community School children consistently exceed the state average achieving the highest goal level in Connecticut Mastery Tests. This excellent educational program is managed in a cost effective manner placing Bethany in the lowest 10% in per pupil cost in the state.  Students are offered a wide variety of activities and programs to ensure the development of their full potential. The new buildings at Amity Senior High School and Middle School will enhance an already top notch academic program. Bill Blake, the Board of Education Chairman, has done a great job of restoring integrity to Amity. Amity students go on to exciting careers and entrance into the best colleges. I will continue to support quality education and ask for your vote for our education candidates.
